Is Meghan Markle set for a Vogue reunion? Duchess confirms she’ll be in London the same weekend as Edward Enninful’s Forces For Change event – inspired by the royal’s September issue

The Duchess of Sussex could be set to reunite with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful on her return to the UK this month.
Meghan Markle, 38, and Prince Harry, 37, confirmed yesterday that they would be flying back from Canada to carry out a series of engagements from 28 February, culminating with the Commonwealth Service at Westminster Abbey on 9 March.
The timing coincides with Enninful’s inaugural Forces For Change event on 7 March, which takes its name from the Duchess’s best-selling September issue of British Vogue.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are scheduled to attend the Mountbatten Festival of Music at the Royal Albert Hall on 7 March but it is possible they could attend the matinee, which ends at 4.45pm, allowing Meghan to attend Enninful’s star-studded event at the Southbank Centre that same evening.

The engagements are expected to be the couple’s last as senior royals before they officially step down from their roles on 31 March. Their Buckingham Palace operation will end on 1 April.
Enninful announced plans for the first ‘Forces For Change’ event earlier this week.
The editor took to Instagram to announce the ‘Change-Maker Talks’, an evening of ‘intimate discussions’ in London, with actress Salma Hayek acting as a ‘keynote speaker’.
It builds on the success of the fashion bible’s Forces for Change edition, which was guest edited by the Duchess of Sussex. The magazine featured a grid of 15 ‘incredible’ women on the cover with articles commissioned by the royal inside.

Other women who will appear at the event include Pakistani writer Fatima Bhutto and British-Iranian journalist Christiane Amanpour.
Both Enninful and the Duchess recently shared posts celebrating the success of the royal-backed issue, which was the fastest-selling in the history of the magazine.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s 10-day stint of engagements looks set to be a busy one, kicking off on 28 March when Prince Harry will join Jon Bon Jovi at an Invictus Games event.
Harry and Meghan will then attend the Endeavour Fund awards on 5 March, and Harry will be at Silverstone with racing driver Lewis Hamilton on 6 March.

Harry and Meghan plunged the royal family into a period of crisis when they announced earlier in the year they wanted to step back as senior royals and become financially independent.
A summit of senior royals was convened by the Queen at Sandringham to discuss the issue, with Harry sitting down for talks with his grandmother, father the Prince of Wales and brother the Duke of Cambridge.
It was later announced they would no longer be members of the monarchy, split their time between Canada and the UK, with the majority spent in North America, and no longer be known as HRH.
Despite the unprecedented move the couple will keep the themes of their public work – the Commonwealth, community, youth empowerment and mental health, collectively.
They are currently living in Canada with their son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, who turns one in May.
