Meghan Markle might be looking to revive her lifestyle blog, The Tig, which she shut down after she started dating Prince Harry.
Meghan’s business manager, Andrew Meyer, has reportedly filed documents in the US aiming to keep the rights to the blog’s name until 2021, according to The Sun.
The documents were said to have been filed through a company called Frim Fram, which also has a website called ‘Tigtots,’ which is thought to be a site for parents.

Meghan shared her favorite things and inspirations with her fans on The Tig starting in 2014
The Tig, which was launched in 2014, was the Duchess of Sussex’s personal blog in which she shared some of her favorite things – ranging from food and travel to fashion, beauty, politics and inspirational women – with her fans.
She abruptly shut down the site in April 2017, taking down all the posts she had shared over the previous three years. Meghan and Harry’s engagement was announced in November 2017.
Meghan’s spokeswoman told The Sun that ‘The lasting trademark is to prevent false branding, to avoid others purporting to be the Duchess or affiliated with her.’
‘It’s fascinating Meghan’s business manager has ensured she keeps The Tig for a few more years at least,’ a source told The Sun. ‘Of course it’s understandable she wouldn’t want an entrepreneur using the name without her involvement.’

The source went on to say that because Meghan is supposedly eager to ‘be a different type of royal’ by using digital and social media to promote the causes she believes in, ‘it’s not out of the question she’d think The Tig could play an important role.’
In early September, The Sun had reported that Meghan told her US PR agency that she wanted to ‘break the internet’ with the launch of the UK Vogue issue that she guest edited.
‘Even thought it was the UK version of the mag, she wanted maximum coverage in America, which is the country she really cares about in terms of the media,’ the source told the newspaper.
‘She was incredibly hands-on with the strategy and in one meeting told the staff: ‘I want to break the internet.’
Meghan had said that she named her site The Tig after she tried a wine called Tignanello, which is nicknamed ‘Tig’.
‘It was an ah-ha moment at its finest. For me, it became a “Tig” moment – a moment of getting it,’ she wrote on her blog.
