He said: ‘As we age our skin looses texture. I’m gonna show you how to achieve a beautiful glow for more mature skin. With more mature skin you really want to focus on bringing that natural radiance out.

‘I like to achieve the radiance using creme products, so I’m not going to use any shimmery powders or any luminisers.

‘I really want this radiance to be really natural and really glowy.’

After he prepped his model’s skin using her own individual skincare regime, Daniel began the look by applying a small amount a medium coverage foundation.

He advised using either a brush, sponge or your hands to apply the initial product, but he suggested blending it in with your hands to help the skin become less ‘dull’.

He said: ‘I‘m gonna start in the center of her face and work my way out with the foundation.

‘We wanna balance out the skin tone, it’s about enhancing. I like to use a brush but then you can go in and use your hands, or you can use a sponge.

‘The basis of the foundation is to even out your skin tone.

‘I’ll go in with my hands because as we get older our skin feels dryer a bit more on the dull side so what this does it kind of invigorates the skin.’

He then uses a concealer to get rid of any bags under the eyes or age spots, and suggested used a creme highlight on the cheek bone, which he applied sparingly with his finger.
