Meghan Markle’s mother spotted at Los Angeles laundromat

As Meghan Markle was rounding off her romantic African getaway with Prince Harry this week, the Suits actress’s mother was spotted far from a fabulous vacation, doing loads of laundry in Los Angeles.

Exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com, show the potential future princess’s mother Doria Ragland bringing in laundry carts filled with clothes and bedding into Super Suds Laundromat on Monday.

Wearing a cream-colored T-shirt, matching cropped pants, and flip flops, the social worker and yoga instructor appeared stony-faced as she unloaded her car which was packed with linens.

The 60-year-old, who lives in Crenshaw, has been seen walking the red carpet with Meghan, but it seems the Doria’s lifestyle is a far cry from that of her daughter and her royal boyfriend, who recently returned from a three-week trip in Botswana.

The actress and the prince, who have been dating for just over a year, are reported have visited Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

The waterfall straddles Zambia and Zimbabwe, on the Zambezi river, and is one of the largest in the world, plunging 354ft.

Security officers and government officials in Zambia were ‘put on alert’ to expect Prince Harry and his girlfriend.

Doria, who filed for bankruptcy herself in 2002 over a $52,750 credit-card bill, appears to be the one of the defining influences in her daughter’s life.

In a recent interview with Glamour, Meghan listed her mother as one of the top ten women who changed her life.

‘My mom’s a yoga instructor, but she does social work, as well, and she works specifically with the geriatric community.

‘For me to watch this level of life-long sensitivity to nurturing and caregiving, but at the same time my mom has always been a free spirit,’ she said.

‘She’s got dread locks and a nose ring. She just ran the LA Marathon. We can just have so much fun together, and yet, I’ll still find so much solace in her support. That duality coexists the same way it would in a best friend.’
