After a somewhat disastrous first week at the helm of her new breakfast show, Megyn Kelly opted for a little pampering on Sunday.
The NBC host was spotted visiting a New York nail salon with her six-year-old daughter Yardley in tow.
The mother-daughter duo mulled over the nail varnish colors together before sitting down for a mani-pedi.

Apart from her flip flops, Megyn was dressed for the cooler Fall temperatures in jeans, a grey long-sleeved shirt and white vest.
Megyn and her daughter later joined the rest of their family as they set sail on their boat to make the most of the weekend sunshine. The boat is named Triumvirate, which means a political regime dominated by three men.
The 47-year-old had switched her flip flops for blue sneakers, which she paired with a navy, long-line cardigan.
Her husband Douglas Brunt, who made a surprise appearance earlier this week for the first episode of her TV show, uncoupled the moorings while Megyn took charge of the wooden boat as they left the marina.
Their family outing followed the first week of her new Megyn Kelly Today show airing.
Though in its infancy, the show and its host has already drawn criticism from its celebrity guests.

During the first episode on Monday, Will & Grace star Debra Messing delivered the first blow when she told an Instagram fan that she regretted participating in an interview with Kelly.
‘Honestly I didn’t know it was MK until that morning. The itinerary just said Today Show appearance. Regret going on. Dismayed by her comments,’ Messing told a fan who asked why they’d agreed to take part.
Today show insiders said Messing seemed only too happy to be there when she was in the studio.
Tuesday’s controversy came with legendary actress Jane Fonda.
During a joint interview with Robert Redford, her co-star in the new Netflix romance Our Souls At Night, Fonda chastised Kelly for asking her about what plastic surgery she had endured throughout her decades-long career.
‘We really wanna talk about that now?’ Fonda quipped, staring incredulously at the host.

Kelly relished in the studio audience’s laughter and brushed past the criticism.
‘Well one of the things people think about when they look at you is how amazing you look,’ she pushed on.
In a hurry to move past the topic, Fonda replied: ‘Well, thanks. Good attitude, good posture. Take care of myself.’
The Megyn Kelly Today show comes just a few months after the failed launch of the her prime time show, Sunday Night with Megyn Kelly.
The show ran just eight episodes throughout the summer before ending and failed to dominate ratings. It is scheduled to return in Spring.
Kelly left Fox News for NBC in January after a tumultuous past year which involved run-ins with President Trump.
She said the decision to leave was prompted by the network’s obsession with him, complaining that the news had become ‘all political’ after accepting her $18million-a-year offer from NBC.
