Mel B gives the camera the middle finger whilst posing with her fellow Spice Girls for a cheeky snap

She’s known as the fierce and feisty member of the Spice Girls.

And, Mel B proved she’s ‘that friend’ as she took to Instagram on Thursday to share a cheeky snap of herself giving the camera the middle finger and sticking out her tongue, whilst sitting with her fellow Spice Girls.

In the group shot, the women are sat around a table with Geri Horner smiling sweetly beside the America’s Got Talent judge, 43, while Mel C winks and pulls tongues, and Emma Bunton peeks a smile into the edge of the picture.

The Spice Girls are currently preparing for their reunion concerts – scheduled to begin in Cardiff on May 27.

Original member Victoria Beckham AKA Posh Spice will not be joining them on tour, but last week hinted she could make a surprise appearance on stage with her bandmates during an interview on Good Morning America.

The fashion designer, 44, revealed keen fans will have to wait and see whether she’ll join her fellow Spice Girls for a guest performance.

Former American footballer Michael, 47, asked: ‘You won’t be tempted to get up there and give a little something something?’

Teasing her decision, the wife of former Manchester United ace David replied: ‘Well, I mean, I don’t know… Let’s see.

‘I’ll always be a Spice Girl and I’m so proud of everything I achieved. I’m proud of them.’

Throwing her support behind her former bandmates, the mother-of-four continued: ‘It’s gonna be the best show – I can’t wait to take my kids and see it.

‘But, with my business now I just wouldn’t be able to do it. But I wish them so much luck and love and it’s gonna be great. And in spirit, I will absolutely be there with them.’

Mel B’s cheeky snap also comes after claims that the group turned down an ‘£80 million offer to tour America’ over fears it may cause ‘tension’ between the bandmates.

A source told The Sun that Mel B, Geri Horner, Mel C and Emma Bunton could have banked millions from a tour of top US stadiums but decided against that and producing new music together.

They added: ‘The UK shows will be massive and very special so they are apprehensive about doing more in the US because they know from experience how long stints together on the road can cause tensions.

‘They all have families who they need to consider, they aren’t single women who can drop everything and go.

‘And in terms of new music as a group, they are all in various stages of relaunching their solo careers, which makes it very unlikely.’
