A Melbourne couple has revealed that flowers, chocolate, coffee and dinner are all part of their humble celebrations after snagging an incredible $60million Lotto win on Thursday night.
The couple from South Melbourne held the only division winning entry in Powerball draw 1327.
The win is Victoria’s second-biggest ever lottery prize after a North Melbourne dad took home $80million in August.
The overjoyed couple revealed they had discovered their mind-blowing windfall shortly after the draw but needed to take some time for the win to sink in.

‘I found out last night while I was watching TV with my wife. We knew straight after the draw that we had won. We were screaming and crying,’ the overwhelmed husband said.
‘It was just disbelief. It was amazing. We’ve just been trying to calm down ever since.
‘It has been a very tough year for us – really horrible. But this changes everything!’
The couple planned to celebrate their huge win with simple pleasures.
‘Today we will celebrate by getting some chocolate, flowers and coffee, and we’ll go out for a beautiful dinner tonight.’
But the couple revealed they have greater plans in store with their newfound fortune.
‘I want to pay off the home loan and some debts we have,’ the husband said.
‘We’re looking at retiring, and of course we’ll help the kids. And we’ll have some good holidays, both interstate and overseas.’
The husband added that the pair would also love to purchase a new car and a new house.

Owners Chris and Ana Haritos, who have previously sold a division one winning ticket, were ecstatic over the news.
‘This is the first time in my life I’ve sold an entry like this!’ Mr Haritos said.
‘We’ve sold two TattsLotto division one winning entries in recent years, but this $60 million prize is out of this world! This is the ultimate prize.’
The store owners congratulated the winning couple and hope they enjoy the life-changing prize.
The winning numbers from Powerball Draw 1327 were 7, 17, 11, 28, 30, 2 and 27, while the Powerball number was 11.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 365 so far this calendar year.

A Melbourne dad who had lost his job during the Covid-19 pandemic won Australia’s third biggest lottery prize in history when the $80million Powerball prize went off in August.
‘I lost my job during one of the many lockdowns here in Melbourne. We had only just bought a home and didn’t see it coming,’ he told The Lott.
‘I am certainly keen to pay off the mortgage and the other bills we have to begin with,’ he stated.
‘We’re going to set our kids up for life. That will be an incredible thing to be able to do. There’s so much we will be able to do with this prize. It will change so many people’s lives!’
A young couple from the ACT also recently claimed the $20million Powerball jackpot.
They took home $20,852,900.31 after their PowerHit entry also scored division two 19 times.
‘This is going to mean a lot for the whole family,’ the winning man shared.
‘I want to help my parents and siblings. I want to buy a house for our young family. It’s going to make a world of difference.’
Last year, a total of $3.33billion in prize money was claimed with over 111.6 million winners from Australian Lottery draws.
