It has been reported Nadia’s two sons arrived at her home she was sharing with her new husband in October last year – and she claims they threatened to kill her.

‘They were screaming we’re going to kill you, we need you dead, we need you dead this is our family’s honour,’ Nadia said.

She added that ‘It is in an honour for them to kill somebody whose turned away from Islam’, even if it is their own mother.

Nadia said she renounced Islam about a decade ago, having converted to the religion when she married her former husband.

She said her family had thought ‘anybody who is not Muslim is rubbish’.

Police allegedly found firearms in the possession of the two sons when they caught up with them following the October incident, A Current Affair reported.
