A teenage boy has been accused of being a major drug kingpin after he was arrested in Melbourne’s business district on Saturday morning.

Luke Lewin was arrested in a short-stay apartment early on Saturday morning, after police allegedly found him with ecstasy, prescription drugs and wads of cash. 

Police later searched the apprentice electrician’s family home in Melbourne’s south-eastern suburb of Bonbeach.

They allegedly discovered more drugs, stun guns, jewellery and large sums of cash.

Lewin appeared before Melbourne Magistrates Court on Sunday afternoon, accused of being a major drug dealer.  

Appearing before the court in a grey hoodie, he did not speak during the brief trial, the Herald Sun reports.

The teenager did not apply for bail and has been remanded in custody. 

He is scheduled to return to court on August 28.
