Bizarre moment ‘Karen’ goes ballistic at tradies for putting a roadwork sign outside her mansion in VERY posh suburb – before rearranging their gear and unleashing an expletive-laden rant

  • Melbourne woman recorded melting down at tradies over construction signs
  • ‘Karen from Kew’ began dismantling ‘footpath closed’ barriers outside house
  • Tradies laughed as they filmed the housewife comically removing signage

A woman has been filmed melting down at tradies after they left construction signs out the front of her Melbourne mansion, cutting off her footpath.

The resident, dubbed ‘Karen from Kew’, ripped down ‘footpath closed’ signs and barriers from outside her manor in the exclusive suburb in Victoria’s capital – where the median house price sits at an eyewatering $2.7million.

Dressed in activewear, a puffer jacket and aviator sunglasses, she was recorded dismantling the safety setup last week, before returning the next day to tear it all down again.

‘F*** off. You can take photos of me all you like, but do not put this in front of my home,’ she shouts to a tradie in the video.

She yelled to tradies across the road to 'f*** off' and not leave the signage in front of her mansion

A building site can be seen in the property next to the woman’s home in Melbourne’s inner-suburbs, with fencing and a tractor visible in the background.

In the video, the woman could be seen moving cones away from the public footpath in front of her mansion, before attempting to move a large sign diverting pedestrians away from the area.

She turned and looked at the tradies watching from across the road, yelling at them as she continued to dismantle the blockade.

The woman then comically attempted to remove a barrier, repeatedly dropping the plastic bar to the ground.

She pushed all the equipment to the dividing line of her property, before the tradies could be heard laughing behind the camera.

‘She’ll probably go off at me if she sees me filming her,’ one of them said.

The two videos of ‘Karen from Kew’ have been watched more than 500,000 times combined, with commenters mocking the woman.

‘I wish I was so rich that my problems were a sign out front on a public footpath,’ one man said.

‘Who’s gonna tell her that she doesn’t own the footpath, even if it’s in front of her house,’ a woman wrote.

”How do they become so passionate about something so unnecessary?’ a third TikTok user said.
