A woman is fighting for life after she was found viciously stabbed in an apartment.
Emergency services were called to Southey Grove, in Melbourne’s south, at 7.30pm on Sunday following reports of a woman being stabbed.
Police found a woman in her 40s with ‘critical injuries’, investigators said in a statement.

The woman was taken to hospital for treatment.
A man believed to be known to the woman, also in his 40s, was arrested at the apartment.
He is helping police with their inquiries.
