Her latest film The Starling has been getting less than stellar reviews.

But Melissa McCarthy didn’t seem worried about the criticism as she enjoyed lunch with friends on Tuesday.

The Bridesmaids actress, 51, was dressed down in black layers for a stop by Escuela Taqueria near the Fairfax neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Let’s do lunch: Melissa McCarthy did lunch with friends at an LA taco spot on Tuesday

For her look she paired a face mask, with a breezy blouse, ripped jeans, and Adidas All Star sneakers.

The Mike & Molly star added some glitz with earrings and a gold chain while twisting her hair into twin buns for a fun touch.

And adding a splash of color, she toted along a turquoise bag.

Melissa didn’t seem to be worrying about the lukewarm reviews for her latest film The Starling, which was released back on September 12th.

The film currently holds a 22% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the aggregator accusing the film of ‘Burying its talented cast and worthy themes under mounds of heavy-handed melodrama.’

‘The Starling is a turkey,’ they declared.

The film also features Chris O’Dowd, Timothy Olyphant, Veronica Falcon, Daveed Diggs and Loretta Devine.

Hopefully McCarthy fares better with her next film, Thor: Love And Thunder with Natalie Portman, Chris Hemsworth, and Christian Bale and directed by Taika Waititi.

Fans can also catch her on the miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers, currently streaming on Hulu.

And Melissa will appear as Ursula in the live-action remake of The Little Mermaid, which is set for a 2023 release.
