Melissa – best known for playing Lucy Beale in the BBC soap – looked incredible as she playfully danced in the video.

Captioning her video, she wrote: ‘Why I do what I do: To show that postpartum isn’t just the fourth trimester. To show that it’s ok to look like you had a baby – you did!

‘To show that mums are still sexy and fun. To show that every body is worthy and can rock lingerie. To show my honest body, no retouching or sucking in poses or clever apps.

‘To show you a body that is underrepresented- the saggy mum tum – a body that might look like yours.

‘For all the women who message me to say how much I’m helping them. And the main reason? BECAUSE I F****** WELL WANT TO.’

Melissa looked stunning as she danced in different settings and smiled at the camera. In one shot she throws her arms in the air with joy.

The influencer is no stranger to a candid body positive post.

The body confidence influencer, who has 53k followers, opted for a soft glam makeup look and styled her blonde locks straight.

She went on to admit she’s gained weight over the festive period and shared a positive message, telling her followers change is ‘normal and inevitable.’

Alongside the post, Melissa penned: ‘I’ve gained weight over Christmas. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Here’s why it’s not a big deal.

I’m going to gain weight for the rest of my life. I’m going to lose it too. If I made a huge deal out of every time my body weight changed I’d basically live in a constant state of *huge deal*. I know this because it literally used to be me.’

‘Change is normal and inevitable. If I’m only happy with one very specific version of myself, I’m going to spend a lot of time unhappy.

‘And I flat out refuse to do that anymore. Every version of me is temporary, and every version deserves my respect.’

Melissa admitted she has gained weight but assured her followers ‘life is about balance’ which means she would never change her lifestyle at Christmas to ‘avoid’ this outcome.

‘I try not to talk about when I gain and lose weight, mainly because it’s not anyone else’s business, but also because I don’t want to give any energy to focusing on it as a goal,’ the former soap star added.
