Meryl Streep looks ready for bed in a dressing gown style coat and red stilettos in New York

She’s been busy promoting her latest project Don’t Look Up. 

And Meryl Street looked upbeat as she stepped out in a grey floral-lined coat while leaving her most recent interview on NBC’s Today Show in New York on Tuesday. 

The 72-year-old actress looked cosy in the wrap coat that tied at the waist and somewhat resembled a dressing gown.

Meryl opted for a colorful but cosy outfit to show off her stylish side as she sported the statement outerwear.  

The actress graciously smiled for photos in the oversized long grey coat with floral details, which she paired with bright red pumps that featured a wave accent. 

The Devil Wears Prada star was on-trend as she sported cat eye glasses, and accessorized her look with hoop earrings.

She swept her natural tresses behind her in a relaxed style as she left the studio after her latest interview promoting Don’t Look Up.

When on the morning program with her co-star Jonah Hill, 37, they shared funny anecdotes about working together on the film. 

Meryl and Jonah sat down with Today Show’s Savannah Guthrie and shared about their experience working together on the sci-fi disaster comedy.

When Savannah asked Jonah what he calls the 21-time Oscar nominated actress, Meryl jokingly replied, ‘Boss’ and Jonah quickly agreed.

He then added:  ‘I call her the GOAT — the greatest of all time.’

Hilarity ensued when Meryl revealed that at first, she didn’t know what the word meant, and simply thought of it as a cute nickname.

‘I thought it was cute. I thought, “Why is he calling me a GOAT?” And I sort of thought, “Well, you kind of look like a goat,”‘ she said, to which Jonah replied, ‘Not true.’

‘I didn’t know what that meant,’ Meryl revealed. ‘I’m not up on things.’

It was Jennifer Lawrence who came to the rescue and explained that the word was actually a great compliment.

‘Jen (Lawrence) filled her in. Meryl was saying, “Oh, I think he keeps calling me a goat,” and then Jen Lawrence was like, “No, it stands for greatest of all time.” It’s a massive compliment and not a grotesque diss that I would never say anyway.’

In Don’t Look Up, Meryl plays the President of the United States, Janie Orlean, whose character is described as a self-centered woman who cares more about her image than running the country.

Meanwhile Jonah plays her son and her White House Chief Of Staff.

Don’t Look Up has an impressive A-list cast that includes Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Cate Blanchett, Kid Cudi, Tyler Perry, Ariana Grande, Timothee Chalamet, Chris Evans and Matthew Perry.

The film hits theaters on December 10 and will also be available to stream on Netflix from December 24.
