Michael Clarke and Pip Edwards’ split gets ugly as they unfollow each other on Instagram

Pip Edwards’ split from Michael Clarke has officially turned bitter.

The pair, who were reportedly on good terms following their recent split, have now confirmed their friendship is over by unfollowing each other on Instagram.

Pip, 41, and Michael, 40, are said to have split in February, less than a year after they wend public with their whirlwind romance.

While they were inseparable for much of the relationship, as of late March neither had featured on the other’s Instagram since Australia Day.

When contacted about their split at the time, Pip told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I have no comment, no comment at all.’

Sources close to the pair said while they had gone their separate ways, they remained good friends and the split was ‘amicable’.

The pair had sparked reconciliation rumours in April when they spent a sun-soaked day on the water together after dining at a lavish restaurant.

However, any friendship between the pair appears to have fizzled, as they are now strangers on social media.

Pip and Michael’s very public statement comes days after the P.E. Nation designer was spotted spending time with Bondi restaurateur Cameron Northway.

On Tuesday morning, the pair were pictured leaving Cameron’s home in Sydney together – several hours after they’d celebrated Pip’s 41st birthday with an intimate dinner at French restaurant Hubert the night before.

Pip looked rather surprised as she was snapped strolling to a local restaurant for breakfast with Cameron, who looked down at the footpath.

The designer, who is known for tirelessly detailing her daily activities on social media, chose not to share any photos of her outing with Cameron online.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, an onlooker said: ‘[Pip and Cameron] weren’t packing on the PDA in the street, but they certainly looked like a new couple on a first date.’

‘Her car was parked outside his house in the morning, so it seemed like she stayed the night,’ they added.

The sighting came just days after Pip shut down rumours she was dating Cameron – who was spotted leaving her Bondi home on two occasions last week.

The mother of one, who until recently was in an on-again-off-again relationship with retired Australian cricket captain Michael, said via a spokeswoman she was just friends with Cameron.

When approached for comment on the sightings, Pip’s representative Louise Gaffikin told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Pip and Cameron are friends. No further comment.’

In a bizarre twist, Cameron, who co-owns the Rocker restaurant on Campbell Parade in North Bondi, is actually a longtime friend of Pip’s ex-partner, fashion designer Dan Single.
