‘You did an amazing job’: Kyly Clarke voices her support for ‘shattered’ ex Michael and says they’ll always be a ‘family’ as he delivers a eulogy at his aunt’s funeral… after their shock split

Kyly Clarke has publicly thrown her support behind estranged husband Michael, following the death of his aunt.

On Friday, Michael, 38, shared a solemn Instagram post in which he admitted that he was struggling to get through reading his aunt’s eulogy at her funeral.

‘You can practice all you like but standing in front of my family and reading my aunt’s eulogy is as tough as it gets,’ Michael wrote, adding that he was ‘shattered.’

Kyly, 38, responded to the post and said that they will always be a family.

‘And you did an amazing job,’ she wrote, adding the hashtag ‘family.’

The former WAG announced her shock split from her cricketer husband last month, after seven years of marriage.

Earlier this month, the House Rules judge shared a cryptic message about having faith in a post on her Instagram story.

Kyly shared a screenshot of a tweet that read: ‘Faith is the ability to see the invisible and believe in the incredible and that is what enables believers to receive what the masses think is impossible.’

Kyly, 38, responded to Michael’s post, commenting: ‘And you did an amazing job. #Family’

The tweet was originally posted by US motivational speaker Bob Proctor, who Kyly appears to be a fan of.

In a joint statement, Kyly and Michael said it was ‘amicable’ decision and ‘the best course’ for their four-year-old daughter, Kelsey Lee.

The news came as a surprise to many, as Kyly had told Daily Mail Australia in January 2019: ‘We’re not, never were and never will be splitting.’

Just eight months later, Michael reportedly moved out of their $12million marital home in Vaucluse, Sydney. He is now living at his apartment in Bondi Beach.

Meanwhile, P.E Nation co-founder Pip Edwards denied romance rumours with Michael late last month, after he was seen leaving her home in Sydney’s Bondi.

She told the publication that she has been friends with Michael for 12 years, and that they simply have a business association
