Michael Jackson fan has photo shoot in honor of the pop icon

It has been more than 50 years since the world first heard of Michael Jackson but decades later, fans are still inspired by his music and signature dance moves.

One of those fans is eight-year-old Jett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who was first introduced to the artist’s music a couple months ago after his grandmother showed him Thriller.

Jett’s mom, Lyndsey Wright, said in a Facebook post: ‘My mom showed him “Thriller” a couple months ago and ever since then, he has dedicated his free time to learning some signature Michael Jackson moves and song lyrics.’

She added that the best part about his newfound love is that he’s actually ‘really good’ at dancing.

And to show off some of his moves in celebration of his birthday, Jett enlisted the help of his photographer mother to capture his best Michael Jackson portrayal for an MJ-inspired  photo shoot in honor of the King of Pop.

Lyndsey said: ‘I asked Jett if he would like to do an MJ shoot for his birthday and his eyes lit up. He knew he wanted a Billie Jean outfit.’

‘He even used his own birthday money to upgrade the black blazer I found to a sparkly jacket. Jett Man and I had so much fun with this shoot!’

Jett even donned a white glove and black hat for the occasion and judging from the photos, he definitely knows how to bust a move.

He told PopSugar that his decision to recreate Billie Jean was an easy to choice to make as that’s his favorite Michael Jackson song.

He added: ‘But I like a lot of songs the same. Thriller and Smooth Criminal too.’

This isn’t the first time, Lyndsey has taken part in a creative photo opportunity as in the past she has done a taco and donut smash (like a cake smash but with tacos and donuts) photo shoot along with newborn puppy and mermaid-themed photo session.

It appears that the photographer does it all and even loves doing it as she shared on her website: ‘When you invest your money in someone who has poured their heart and soul into learning the art of custom photography, that love will show in your photos.’

‘Not only with you get technically better photos, you’ll receive photos with emotion, love and personality.’

And her pictures seem to have no shortage of personality with the Michael Jackson photo shoot turning out better than any fan could have imagined.
