Controversial filmmaker Michael Moore posted pictures of himself participating in a protest in Manhattan that was allegedly organized by Russians in November 2016.

Moore has long accused President Donald Trump of colluding with Russian in the 2016 presidential election.

On Friday, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced indictments from Special Counsel Robert Mueller Friday against 13 Russian nationals for meddling in the 2016 election

According to the indictment, signed by Mueller, the nationals used social media to stir up strife and anger and were also behind anti-Trump rallies that occurred after the election.

One of the rallies the defendants organized was shortly after the election and titled ‘Trump is NOT my President’ rally on November 12 in New York.

Their ‘strategic goal’ was to ‘sow discord in the US political system,’ according to the indictment.

On November 12, Moore shared a picture of himself posing with a large number of protesters.

Below, he tweeted: ‘At today’s Trump Tower protest. He wouldn’t come down.’

Last year, Moore wrote on Facebook: ‘It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out what was going on: TRUMP COLLUDING WITH THE RUSSIANS TO THROW THE ELECTION TO HIM.’

Additionally, the filmmaker has referred to the GOP as the “enemy of the American people” and calling for the impeachment of the commander-in-chief.
