Michael Strahan wants ex-wife and mother of his twin daughters to go halves on parenting coordinator fees amid bitter court battle over money

They are stuck in a court battle over child support and additional money to support their twin daughters’ equestrian ambitions.
And in February, Good Morning America co-host Michael Strahan and his second ex-wife Jean Muggli agreed to allow a parenting coordinator to help them resolve their disagreements, with Strahan picking up 90 percent of the tab.
But now that decision has become yet another source of grievance between the warring exes, according to TMZ on Sunday, with the former NFL pro now asking the court to require Muggli to share the costs of the parenting coordinator.

Strahan filed documents accusing Muggli of a ‘pattern of conduct designed to increase unnecessarily the involvement of the PC and to significantly increase the fees charged by the PC,’ TMZ reported.
The 47-year-old stated that his ex was being uncooperative when it comes to scheduling his visitation with his 15-year-old daughters Isabella and Sophia and that she has accused the parenting coordinator of siding with him because he pays the bulk of her fees.
He is now asking the judge to rule that Muggli be responsible for paying 50 percent of the fees.

Isabella and Sophia were just 20 months old when the couple filed for divorce in 2006 after seven years of marriage.
In the divorce settlement, Muggli was awarded a lump sum of $15.3 million and child support of $18,000 a month.
However, in June, she filed a money judgment against her ex-husband.
In documents filed by Muggli last month, she claimed she and Strahan had agreed to evenly split the cost of their daughters’ equestrian endeavors which since 2017 have totaled $450,802. He has claimed now such deal was agreed.
She also is asking for $321,654 in support back payments to cover cost of living increases since 2010, claiming her former husband has been underpaying his child support obligations.
A source close to Strahan has previously said the accusations against the TV personality ‘are completely false.’
‘Michael has always honored his commitments regarding his children,’ the insider said. ‘The reason they are in court is that Jean continuously asks for more money. Michael intends to do what is best for his children, as he always does. He is properly handling this in the court.’
