New Orleans Saints star Michael Thomas hurt his knee in the first quarter of his team’s game against Minnesota Vikings.
The wide receiver was playing in the game despite being arrested on Friday night for throwing a brick at a man’s car and slapping his phone out of his hand.
Neighbors saw Thomas being put into the back of a police car in Kenner, Louisiana, according to WDSU, who said a man told them that Thomas threw two bricks at his truck before pushing him over and trying to access his phone to delete footage of the altercation.
As for Sunday, Thomas was hit by Akayleb Evans, with his left knee appearing to twist and jolt on impact, as well as the hit coming from behind and going into his back as he jumped up to try and catch the ball.
After a lengthy spell in the treatment tent, the Saints announced on X that he was questionable to return.
