Michelle Bridges reveals her ripped physique in a bikini

She has been keeping up with her strict workout and diet regimen throughout her Byron Bay sabbatical.  

And so it’s no wonder Michelle Bridges, 47, was keen to show off her astonishingly muscular physique at the beach on Tuesday. 

Michelle, who rose to fame as a trainer on The Biggest Loser, sported a striped  bikini top that accentuated her cleavage and well-defined arms.

A coordinating pair of skimpy bikini briefs drew attention to the gym-lover’s sculpted torso and lean legs. 

Michelle was joined by by her partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis and their son Axel, both of whom wore matching floppy hats and brightly-coloured board shorts.

Exercise has been a major feature of her Byron Bay getaway holiday. 

On Tuesday she took to Instagram to reveal she had gone for an early-morning jog. 

‘Run. Coffee. Beach. In that order,’ she wrote next to a photo of herself posing in a bikini with coffee cup in hand.

Michelle shared a video of her herself and Steve executing slow dips and lunges with the boys perched safely on their shoulders.

‘My morning – 10km run then 400m (yes, 400 metres!) walking lunge with a wiggly child on shoulders … digging in with @commandosteve,’ she captioned the footage.

While the fitness fanatic is a source of inspiration for women and men hoping to tranform their figures, Michelle’s quest for disseminating health advice has landed her in hot water.

In an interview on Channel 9’s 60 Minutes last year, Michelle claimed she had never ‘met someone who is morbidly obese and happy.’

She returned to the program months later following public backlash from those claiming that Michelle’s comments amounted to ‘fat shaming’. 

‘I was talking in the context of their health and well being and yes, it caused a real stir,’ she explained to Allison Langdon.

Last year, The No Excuses Cookbook author once again sparked controversty by admitting that she had wrestled a sugary treat from the hands of her two-year-old son Axel, who she shares with partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis.

‘We had a little barbecue and we did have a carrot cake, which you could say was borderline healthy,’ she told The Daily Edition.

‘I did have to wrestle Axel to the ground when he was given a cookie that my babysitter made that had little lollies on it.’  

‘I literally had to wrestle him to the ground to get half of it off him,’ she mused.
