Michelle Bridges shares inside snaps of healthy fridge

She admittedly once wrestled a cookie out of her toddler son’s hands at his first birthday party.

So it’s no surprise that there was no junk food in sight in a candid snap showing the inside of Michelle Bridges’ home refrigerator.

The former Biggest Loser trainer took to Instagram on Tuesday to show fans a ‘100% uninterrupted unstylised photo’ of her fridge and as expected, it was completely free of sugary treats and instead packed with fat-burning fruits and vegetables.

Fans instantly flocked to the comments section, with some expressing total disbelief at her very strict eating habits.

‘Hey Mich!! Where are the chocolate snacks for the off days?’ one fan commented. 

Another shocked follower wrote: ‘What, no chocolate.

The image showed six shelves containing the likes of broccoli, blueberries, nuts and organic eggs.

Last month, the 47-year-old fitness enthusiast was forced to address fat-shaming criticism in a tearful interview with 60 Minutes.

The criticism stemmed from comments she made in the past about having ‘never met a morbidly obese person that was happy.’

‘I was talking in the context of their health and well being and yes, it caused a real stir,’ she explained.

‘Shaming or accusing or vilifying or making people feel unimportant or unheard or invisible is not my mission, it is not what I’m about, it never has been.’

Last year, The No Excuses Cookbook author, who shares a one-year-old son Axel with partner Steve ‘Commando’ Willis, recalled wrestling a sugary treat out of the toddler’s hands.

‘We had a little barbecue and we did have a carrot cake, which you could say was borderline healthy,’ she told The Daily Edition.

‘I did have to wrestle Axel to the ground when he was given a cookie that my babysitter made that had little lollies on it.

She added: ‘She was like, ‘Can I?’ and I literally had to wrestle him to the ground to get half of it off him.’
