And Michelle Keegan looked stunning as she transformed into a bridesmaid for scenes in the upcoming fourth series of military drama Our Girl.

The actress, 32, looked radiant out of her heavy-duty military uniform as she slipped into a satin blue dress for her friend’s wedding.

Newly released photos from the BBC drama show the ex-Coronation Street star clutching on to a bouquet as Marie (Linzey Cocker) appears to walk down the aisle with Fingers (Sean Ward).

Later on at the wedding, she is seen talking to Platoon Sergeant Kingy (Rolan Bell), who is known for kicking Georgie’s 2-Section into line.

Other snaps show the Georgie back in full uniform working in her military training role in the UK.

And the new series will see Amy-Leigh Hickman play a novice army medic who will compel Georgie to return to the forces in Afghanistan, even though she has PTSD. 

Michelle has also appeared in the emotional preview as Georgie continues to struggle following the death of her fiancé Captain Elvis Harte, and it seems that she’ll be facing her demons she prepares to bring down the warlord Omar once and for all. 

In the trailer, it seems that Georgie will be forced to face Omar once again, as she is told they’re heading back to Afghan.

Even though it’s now been several series since Elvis (played by Luke Pasqualino) was tragically killed, Georgie still seems to be struggling with her fiancé’s passing, as she tries to reason with a local woman who has been targeted by Omar.

As the trailer features snapshots of an explosion followed by some form of pursuit, it seems that Georgie continues to be haunted by flashbacks of Elvis.

She emotionally says: ‘I just keep being reminded of Elvis, I don’t think I can do this anymore.’

The star has also teased that she’ll never say never about returning to Our Girl.

‘You can never say it’s forever, I just can’t,’ said Michelle during a Q&A heard by the Evening Standard.

‘It’s really tough. I’ve done four series, and I just want to explore other opportunities, that’s it. I love the show so much. This show has helped me grow to how I am now.

‘These four years have made me grow more than any other show in my life. This isn’t typical for me.”
