The movie’s date was reset on two further occasions before it was eventually given a premiere date of May 27, 2022.
All together now: Along with Sperry, The Whiplash star invited several other family members to the star-studded movie premiere
Teller spoke about working on the long-awaited movie during an interview with Men’s Journal, where he noted that its production process was particularly intense.
‘Every shot, every stunt, was the result of the work, the real sweat, that we all put into it. The production was over the course of a full year, which was definitely the longest shoot I have ever been a part of,’ he recalled.
He then stated that the performers associated with the movie had all grown closer as a result of their involvement with the project.
‘I think the cast got close during that time, going through an experience like that really brings people together. Being there in a highly demanding environment, away from the usual distractions or comforts. It was a bonding experience,’ he said.

‘The movie just blew me away, and my wife said, “That might be the best film I have ever seen.” She was crying multiple times,’ he stated.
The performer went on to note that he expected moviegoers to be particularly impressed with Top Gun: Maverick.
‘There is a lot of heart in the story, and I can’t wait for people to see it. For fans of the original, I think they are going to be grinning from ear-to-ear the whole time. This is going to give them what they want,’ he said.
Three’s company: Teller and Sperry later posed for a picture with Cruise, who flashed a wide smile during his time in front of the cameras
