Miley Cyrus snuggles up to husband Liam Hemsworth as they narrowly avoid run-in with her ex Stella Maxwell at Vanity Fair Oscar Party
She recently revealed her marriage was far from ‘old-fashioned’ and is actually, ‘new age.’
So Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were no doubt unfazed by the presence of Stella Maxwell as all three attended the Vanity Fair Oscar Party at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Sunday.
Miley famously dated Victoria’s Secret model Stella in the summer of 2015 during a break from Liam – who she went on to marry in December last year.

The newlyweds showed no signs of awkwardness as they hit the red carpet, with Miley dazzling in a plunging black gown.
The songstress ensured all eyes would be on her as she rocked the glittering garment which was slashed to the navel and also bore a thigh high slit in the hem.
Looking equally as glamorous was Stella, who showcased her phenomenal figure in a stunning beaded gown with fringed detailing and a jewel embellished halter neckline.

Miley and Liam met on the set of their movie The Last Song in 2009, but have endured an on-off romance over the years.
They first got engaged in 2012, but the engagement was over in September 2013.
Two years later Miley struck up a romance with Patrick Schwarzenegger, and shortly after that ended she enjoyed a summer fling with Stella.

Miley and the model, who is Northern Irish but was bought up in Belgium and New Zealand, met through Miley’s assistant and close friend Cheyne Thomas.
In a candid interview about her sexuality, Miley then came out as pansexual and did not put a label on her relationship with the model, claiming she was ‘single’ but ‘dating’.
A few months later, Miley and Liam rekindled their love for good two years ago and after moving in to one another’s homes, they got engaged for a second time.

Speaking to Vanity Fair about their relationship earlier this month, Miley reasoned: ‘We’re redefining, to be f***ing frank, what it looks like for someone that’s a queer person like myself to be in a hetero relationship.
She said: ‘What I preach is: People fall in love with people, not gender, not looks, not whatever. What I’m in love with exists on almost a spiritual level. It has nothing to do with sexuality…gender is a very small, almost irrelevant part of relationships.’
