Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth want to start a family ‘as soon as possible’

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth reportedly want to start a family ‘as soon as possible’ following their surprise wedding in Tennessee last month.

The Wrecking Ball singer, 26, and Independence Day: Resurgence star, 28, who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last year, are both ‘desperate to be parents,’ according to an ‘insider’ who allegedly spoke to NW magazine this week.

‘These two are in big time baby mode right now and cannot wait to get pregnant as soon as possible,’ the so-called source revealed.

‘They’re both desperate to be parents, which is why Miley cleaned up her act and stopped partying so hard a long while back,’ the insider added.

The Australian actor is also champing at the bit to be a father, according to the publication.

He is even gearing up for the role by sharing ‘dad jokes’ with his legion of followers on social media.

‘I think it’s safe to say I’m bringing saxy back! Dad jokes. (Not actually a dad),’ he captioned an Instagram image of him playing a saxophone in July 2018.

What’s more, the freshly-minted married couple are said to have discussed baby names.

‘Since they got married at Christmas she’s (Miley) toying with biblical choices, but also likes the idea of a nod to country music,’ the source divulged.

In any case, the pair still have plenty of children around to spend time with in the interim.

The couple thoroughly enjoy spoiling the children of Liam’s older brother, Chris Hemsworth.

The Thor: Ragnarok star, 35, has three young kids: India, six, and Tristan and Sasha, four-year-old twins, whom he shares with wife, Elsa Pataky.

The Spanish-born actress, 42, loves having Miley around to play with her children.

‘We love it because she’s just so creative,’ Elsa told ET last year. ‘So any moment, on any circumstance, she actually just writes a song, so we love her, and having her around is fun.’

‘She’s amazing and my kids lover her, and she has an amazing voice,’ she added.

The homespun nature of Miley and Liam’s wedding, combined with the absence of Miley’s brothers Trace, 29, and Christopher, 26, has led some to speculate that it was a surprise ceremony.

However, the date on Miley and Liam’s wedding license might suggest otherwise.

The Party in the USA singer and the Hunger Games actor signed the license on December 18, five days before the ‘surprise’ ceremony, according to TMZ.
