A millionaire’s son who dubbed himself a ‘gipsy gangster’ was seen downing boozy cocktails in Barbados where he was meant to be seeking ‘alcohol treatment’.

Oliver George is currently facing a six-month jail sentence for possessing an imitation firearm, which he used to threaten a barman, after he refused him a glass of prosecco at a yacht club in September.

The 26-year-old was granted unconditional bail at a court in Dorset last month after claiming he was going to the Holetown resort for alcohol treatment sessions.

He was spotted looking relaxed and enjoying the 87F heat while sipping drinks and propping himself up at the bar.

During his jaunt he was seen at a host of bars near his family’s £1 million villa.

According to the Mirror, George professed to those around him that he was a ‘celebrity millionaire’, while he downed shots, which were priced at around £9 each.

He also bragged that he was wearing designer sunglasses worth £1,500.

At one bar, called the West Bar, it is alleged that he spent over £50 in a matter of minutes and claimed he was a ‘nasty man’ adding: ‘I’ve been in all the papers for getting a six-month jail sentence’.

George, whose father owns 35,000 sq ft Wimborne Market in Dorset, is now back in Britain and is set to face court in three weeks.

He previously admitted branding the imitation pistol after calling a Sandbanks barman a ‘p****’.

After pleading guilty, magistrates agreed to delay his sentence until December so he could go on the month-long holiday.

At the time, the prosecutor did not object to the delay but said George should ‘not be allowed to escape justice’.

His solicitor had told the court that George would benefit from the trip as he would be seeing a doctor three times a week for ‘alcohol related issues’

Speaking to the Mirror last night victims’ rights campaigner Harry Fletcher said: ‘A different person with no financial resources would not have been allowed to go on holiday.’
