‘I am 13 and a half weeks pregnant,’ she says.

She adds that she has tried to keep her relationship with her fiancé private because he’s ‘very shy’ and ‘social media isn’t his thing’.

She met Erik in 2016 when she cast him to play Miranda’s love interest in her Netflix series Haters Back Off. The two were friends for awhile but didn’t start dating until early 2018. The pair confirmed their relationship in June.

‘Erik and I have an awesome relationship. We started as friends and that turned into best friends and that slowly turned into more. When it turned into more we very quickly realized this is my person and we knew we wanted to be married, we wanted to have a family together and grow old together,’ she says.

She adds: ‘I know we recently let you know that we are dating but also are engaged and that is something we did not tell you. So, we decided to have a baby together and now I’m pregnant.’

Colleen admits that she wanted to ‘Kylie Jenner’ her pregnancy and keep it to herself for as long as possible because she wanted it to be a special moment for those closest to her and also because the first three months of pregnancy are ‘really scary’.

‘The first trimester – the first three months – are really scary,’ she says. ‘It’s really easy to lose the baby. You’re really really sick and a lot of bad things can go wrong so you don’t know what could happen so you’re not supposed to tell people too much if you’re pregnant for those first three months.’

She also reveals she waited to tell her fans because she was nervous she wouldn’t receive an ‘100 per cent positive reaction’.

‘I love you guys, I love sharing my life with you guys but the thought of anyone saying anything not 100 per cent positive about something I am so excited about really scares me,’ she says. ‘I have never cared about anything more like I have a baby.’

But even though she’s excited to become a mom, she says that her channel isn’t going to become ‘pregnant mommy vlogs’ and that she is still going to be doing the same type of videos she has always been sharing.

And for those wondering what’s going to happen to alter ego Miranda, she says she has a really fun idea for the character and that she’s excited to for her fans to also watch those videos.

Colleen then reveals some of the symptoms she had already faced during her first trimester and admits that although excited, she has been ‘miserable’.

‘I’m so grateful that I was able to get pregnant because I know that is a struggle for a lot of people but let me tell you – pregnancy ain’t no joke,’ she says.

‘The first three months have been miserable. I have been so sick and so exhausted. There are so many symptoms that I had no idea about. You guys want to know my symptoms? No? I’m going to tell you anyway.’

‘We’re not going to call it morning sickness by the way. That’s some cute name some man made up to make it sound cute when you’re pregnant. It ain’t cute. It’s not in the morning. It’s all day and all the time. You’re just sick all the time.’

‘I have had nausea, constipation, stuffy noise, headaches, body aches, sleeplessness, exhaustion, fatigue, muscle pain, gas and y’all know I was gassy before you have no idea how bad it gets when you’re pregnant.’

‘I have been extremely emotional, extremely moody, sharp pains because all of my organs are moving throughout my body to make room for a baby – didn’t know that happened. Peeing every five seconds, acne, bloating, veins popping out everywhere on my body – my legs, my arms, my forehead, my everything.’

‘Extreme starvation but at the same time, having no appetite – that’s a weird one,’ she says. ‘Weird food cravings – I’ve been eating a lot of pickles, a spitty mouth, basically every single flu symptom you can think of I have all the time.’

‘So pregnancy has been no joke but like I said I’m really grateful that I am pregnant, I just feel like more pregnant women should be allowed to complain about how horrible it is.’

She adds that she has been ‘so grateful’ for Erik because he has been incredible throughout her pregnancy.
