Mirror Mirror viewers slam Big Brother star Tilly Whitfeld after she applies GLUE for a facial

Tilly Whitfeld left viewers stunned after she shared some of the very unusual beauty routines she has tried during Monday’s episode of Mirror Mirror.

The Channel Ten show explored the effects of social media, and the former Big Brother housemate admitted that she had tried dubious trends she’d seen online, including using PVC glue for a facial and tattooing freckles onto her own face.

‘We’re gonna do a PVA glue facial’ the 22-year-old said in the show, before cheerily applying glue to her face with a brush.

When she was warned that the safety directions instructed that users of the glue should avoid contact with skin and eyes, she quipped: ‘So, we’ll just put it on the skin, not the eyes.’

‘You just leave it on for a bit, and it’s gonna peel everything off. I’m just gonna put it on the forehead,’ she explained as she applied it, then said it felt, ‘Quite nice.’

Elsewhere in the show, Tilly explained how she was left with horrific scarring after attempting to tattoo freckles onto her own face.

‘They looked cute. I saw other people liking it. I saw people commenting how well it had worked for them,’ Tilly continued.

‘So, of course, I thought I could do it. I mean, I did well in Art at high school. Why can’t I tattoo my face?

‘I really just saw a ‘beauty influencer’ put GLUE on their face as a facial. Hmm,’ another wrote.

‘Clear the internet has made people as dumb as dog s**t! FFS!’ someone else tweeted.

She had attempted to self-administer acupuncture with ink she bought on eBay and sewing needles after watching somebody do it on TikTok.

Tilly has since warned fans to leave such procedures to the professionals.
