A Miss England finalist left scarred by Ferne McCann’s acid thug former boyfriend has found love on Channel 4 show First Dates.

Sophie Hall suffered damage to her shoulders, arms and face after Arthur Collins threw acid on her outside a London nightclub on Easter Weekend in 2017.

The 23-year-old has now found love on First Dates with Bailey and recalled the moment of her attack, leaving viewers feeling emotional.

She had been out celebrating her friend Lauren Trent’s birthday at the time, she said: ‘I knew my face was a mess. I could feel it in my hands.

‘It was all blistered… I knew I would be scarred for life.’

She added: ‘It’s not something I’ll be ever able to forget about and it obviously still haunts me but it’s something that I’ve had to adapt to.

‘I should never have had to get used to but it’s something now that will be with me forever.’

Collins, a former businessman from Broxbourne, Hertfordshire threw acid across the packed dance floor at Mangle nightclub in East London.

He has a young daughter, Sunday, with reality TV star Miss McCann, and was jailed for 20 years after injuring 16 people at the club.
