My Kitchen Rules judge Colin Fassnidge is left badly injured after his family dogs were savagely mauled by his neighbour’s large mixed breed dogs before being ‘left to die in the gutter’
My Kitchen Rules judge Colin Fassnidge has appealed to police after his two pet dogs were almost mauled to death on Sunday night in the Sydney suburb of Maroubra.
Colin, who was also injured in the attack, took to Instagram on Monday with details of the horrific incident as well as several confronting images of his injured pooches, Ellie and Brann, at the veterinarian.
‘My family and I are still coming to terms with the events that took place’, the Irish chef began his impassioned post.
‘While opening my house door to load my dogs into my car they were set upon by 3 mixed breed dogs and dragged to the street where the dogs proceeded to hold down and all 3. Attack, biting, ripping!’ he continued.
‘This is the 3rd attack and worst from the same dogs, second time NSW Police have come out to the scene ( and I thank them) it took 5 adults to get my dogs free,’ Colin revealed.
Clearly shaken, the gourmand took aim at the dog’s owners.

‘The owners of the dogs… left my dog to die in the gutter, no remorse, no call in to see if [everything was OK] later that night,’ he wrote.
‘Dogs are not born killers, it’s how they are brought up, so if [they are] brought up by grubs …,’ he trailed off.
Colin went on: ‘After the attack a young girl aged about 10 with a new puppy walked past and I realised how much worse it could have been – a puppy, a child and three 40kg dogs.’
