‘Flying economy but first class with the treats’: MKR star Pete Evans shows off the fancy fish snack he took on board for his plane trip
Pete Evans has shown off the very fancy treats he made prior to going on an plane ride.
Far from eating the usual sugar-filled muffin or dry biscuit, the 46-year-old took along a delectable, nutritious snack.
Taking to Instagram, the My Kitchen Rules star shared a snap of his unusual meal of caviar wrapped in seaweed.

‘We took a jar of frozen caviar on the plane ride yesterday and some seaweed and we had a little omega 3 and iodine rich snack before our surf,’ he wrote.
Pete was flying with his two daughters: Chilli, 14, and Indii, 12.
He explained that while the trio opted for cheaper economy seats, they opted for business class snacks.

‘Flying economy but first class with the treats,’ he said, adding: ‘And we watched Braveheart on the plane too. What a film.’
Pete and his two daughters are not strangers to delicious yet offbeat meals, with the celebrity chef sharing his children’s unusual breakfast last month.
Letting fans know the girls eat their paleo approved breakfasts in the morning he wrote: ‘Surf and turf breakfast for the girls,’ on Facebook.

He went on to say that the girls get a small portion of fruit, coconut yoghurt and chicken broth with ‘greens from the garden’ for breakfast on less extravagant cooking days.
Pete and his family do not eat gluten, dairy, processed foods and sugar as part of their following of the Paleo lifestyle.

Instead they mainly eat lean meats, fish, fruits, vegetables, nuts and seeds.
In September, Pete showed off his radical transformation.
Pete credited his highly publicised Paleo diet with his body transformation, which took place over a 10-year period.
‘I often share images and stories of others success stories. Well here is a little snapshot of mine. 10 years between shots,’ he said.
