MKR’s Kim screams at Suong during dramatic grand finale

The Melbourne mums were competing for the $250,000 grand prize in the My Kitchen Rules finale on Sunday night.

But a massive error in the kitchen caused tempers to flare between Kim and Suong within the first two courses.

Suong burnt four quail birds and dropped another on the floor, as Kim frantically declared in frustration: ‘We may as well pack our bags and go home!’

‘We may as well pack our bags and go home!’: MKR’s Kim screams at Suong after she burns four quail and drops food on the floor during dramatic grand finale

Suong takes her eye off the grill momentarily, which results in four of the pair’s quail being burnt to a crisp, which meant they needed to de-bone more.

‘Seriously, Suong! I could scream my lungs out. Jesus!’ Kim said.

‘Kim’s upset with me because I’ve just dropped the quail. This is so bad. We do not have time. We need the quails on the plate,’ the aspiring chef worried.

They managed to cook more in the time limit and luckily the judges loved the dish.

They appeared to still be in the running for the top prize, and as they returned to the kitchen to cook Kim sternly stated: ‘No more mistakes, yeah!’

Meanwhile, things were also getting heated between Gold Coast couple Alex and Emily as they felt the pressure to plate 100 dishes within the two hour challenge.

The duo yelled at each other as they hurried to complete tasks to schedule, as former rival Jess said: ‘Is there thunder in paradise?’
