MKR’s Sonya Mefaddi and Hadil Sadeq claim they have NOT apologised to judge Manu

It’s the gastronomic scandal that continues to boil over and shows no sign of abating.

Now My Kitchen Rules ‘villains’ Sonya Mefaddi and Hadil Sadeq have lashed out at MKR judge Manu Feildel after he said (without naming names) that one of the people involved issued an apology to him via Facebook.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, Manu, 44, had said: ‘I got a message on Facebook from one of the people apologising for this and that.’

The Sydney-based friends were summarily dismissed by judges Manu and Pete Evans, 45, on Wednesday night’s episode for ‘bullying’ and there has been hell to pay ever since.

Clearly thinking Manu was referring to one of them, the disgraced duo have hotly denied ever sending a message of apology to Manu.

‘At no point did we Facebook message Manu with an apology,’ the girls wrote on their shared Instagram page.

The duo have been mercilessly attacked by trolls for their behaviour on the popular TV program, with some even going as far as to issue death threats.

The personal attack on the judge comes after the pair blasted Channel Seven and said that the fight should not have been broadcast.

‘I assure you people have acted a lot worse than us on the table, that hasn’t been aired,’ the wrote on their Instagram page.

‘We will both be happy when we’re off air because MKR have bullied us enough, constantly targeting us because we were unfairly dismissed and the only way they could justify this was to make us look so bad!’

They added later: ‘We do however wish to apologise to the viewers for having to witness and endure the situation which should have never been allowed to go to air.’

Manu has vigorously defended the decision to boot the aspiring cooks from the show, and shed light on how serious the situation had become.

Speaking to Western Australian, he said: ‘They were already starting fights earlier in the week and they were still going at it. I don’t think you could have stopped those people.’

He added: ‘They were taking it too far and we had to do something about it. When they started threatening people, saying ‘I am going to go for you and you’, it’s a little scary.’

Meanwhile, a Seven spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia on Thursday: ‘Last night’s episode of My Kitchen Rules dealt with an unprecedented level of continued personal attacks and threats by one team against other teams.

‘Despite a number of constructive conversations and second chances, this team continued to bully and attack other teams. This level of behaviour does not fit within the agreed workplace values of Channel Seven. Everyone, anywhere and at all times must feel safe and supported in their work place. This is a fundamental understanding and agreement by each and every Seven employee.’
