MLB star’s unfinished Missouri mansion for sale for $10M

Texas Rangers’ starting pitcher Cole Hamels, 33, is selling his unfinished mega-mansion in Branson, Missouri for $9.75million.

The 10-bedroom’s interior is still a work in progress, so a buyer will be able to choose the finishing touches.

Located just outside of Branson, MO, the nearly 32,000-sq-ft home is built in a French provincial style and has 19 bathrooms – 13 full and six half.

There are four separate living areas including a second kitchen, exercise room, wine cellar, elevator and a massive three-car barn/garage.

The listing agent is Dennis Hilton of Hilton realtors.

‘It’s a wonderful opportunity for someone to come in and take advantage of a lot of tremendous work that’s been done,’ Hilton said. ‘It just needs someone’s personal touch to come in.’

There would have been plenty of room for Hamels to display his World Series ring, and MVP trophies from the NLCS and World Series.

Hamels began building the house in 2012 while he was still with the Phillies. He was a first-draft pick to the Phillies in 2002.

He joined the Texas Rangers club in 2015 and will make $22.5million as the starting pitcher this year.

Hamels and his wife Heidi decided to relocate to the Dallas area rather than Missouri, where his wife is from. The Rangers are based in Arlington, Texas, about 20 miles from Dallas.

Hamels is a four-time MLB All Star. He won the World Series in 2008 and was named MVP.
