A video showing model Miranda ‘Vee’ Vasquez confessing she has ‘no claim’ against billionaire Mohamed Hadid and Guess co-founder Paul Marciano has surfaced online.
Vasquez, 23, last month publicly accused Hadid of date rape at an apartment in Los Angeles and claimed Marciano sexually harassed her at ‘Guess headquarters.’
But according to the video, which DailyMail.com has learned was filmed by a show business ‘fixer’, Vasquez is seen on camera saying she has no claim, ‘nothing’, against them.
And in the footage shot on a cell phone in June last year, Vasquez is heard saying: ‘No, they’re really nice,’ when asked if she was harmed by any of the two men.
The video, showing the model sitting in front of a desk with a table lamp shining behind her in what appears to be a dingy hotel room, has been posted on YouTube and has received just shy of 150 views.
A male voice is heard saying on the clip: ‘At the end of the day you didn’t mean anything right, you have no claims against Mohamed (Hadid) and no claims against Paul (Marciano)?’
Confession? Cellphone video shows Miranda ‘Vee’ Vasquez, 23, speaking to a show biz ‘fixer’ in a dingy hotel room. Vasquez admits she has no ‘claims’ against Mohamed Hadid or Paul Marciano and adds that the two men are ‘really nice’
The model took to Instagram last month to accuse Hadid of ‘date raping’ her and alleged that Guess designer Paul Marciano sexually harassed her
Vasquez shakes her head and responds: ‘Nothing.’ The man continues: ‘They didn’t hurt you?’ and Vee responds, ‘no they’re really nice.’
The man adds: ‘It was a learning experience and you wish them..,’, Vasquez jumps in, ‘the best, yeh.’
The man then says: ‘And hopefully in the future if they have work for you they’ll think of you and give you a call,’ to which Vee smiles and says, ‘hopefully’.
The video casts further doubt on Vasquez’s claims of rape and sexual misconduct against the two high profile businessmen.
On Instagram last month the brunette posted her accusations of ‘date rape’ against Hadid and another against fashion designer Marciano whom she claims ‘sexually harassed’ her.
Her post, in response to a post by model Kate Upton about the #MeToo movement, was on February 1 in which Vasquez wrote: ‘Thank you @kateupton it is time people like @paulmarciano & @mohamedhadid get exposed for who they really are!
‘I met with paul at his @guess headquarters that actually is an apartment where he sexually harassed me & after that he passed me on to his friend mohamed who was going to meet me for “coffee.” I thought it was a professional meeting but it was just me, him and champagne where he date raped me in an apartment.
‘All to get a test shoot for Guess. Last year when I tried to speak out about it they found out and made me sign a non-disclosure agreement & I only agreed to sign because paul threatened me & said he would get me disappeared if I ever say anything. TIMES UP. Why should we have to stay quiet because they have the power? #METOO.’
Hadid, 69, a real estate developer, is father to models Gigi and Bella Hadid. He filed court papers last week fighting back against Vasquez – branding her a ‘pathological liar’ who plotted to extort him. Above he is pictured with his daughters in 2016
According to the court documents Hadid says he has proof Vasquez is lying about being raped, including text messages where she called him ‘very sweet’ and showed him where she left his keys in his apartment. In other sexually charged text messages sent after the encounter, she said Hadid had a ‘juicy’ penis (depicted with an eggplant emoji)
In other texts, Vasquez flooded Hadid’s phone with photos of her wearing lingerie and a bikini
Messages attached to Hadid’s legal filings show Vasquez allegedly saying that the property developer was ‘very very nice’ and asked to get together again. Other messages show she allegedly sent Hadid selfies on the
But last week Hadid filed court papers fighting back against the model – branding her a ‘pathological liar’ who plotted to extort him.
In the lawsuit filed in LA, Hadid, father of supermodels Bella and Gigi Hadid, claims Vasquez helped extort him out of a large sum of money following a consensual 40-minute hook up with the model.
According to the court documents Hadid says he has proof Vasquez is lying about being raped, including sexually charged text messages saying he had a ‘juicy’ penis (depicted with an eggplant Imogi) sent to him after the encounter.
‘I miss your soft lips & juicy (followed by an eggplant emoji and two lip-licking emojis),’ the text read.
In other texts after the meet up, Vasquez said Hadid was ‘sweet’ and ‘nice’ and she also flooded the property developer’s phone with sexy photos of herself, including shots of her exposing her lingerie and wearing a bikini.
Hadid, protesting his innocence, also claims in the paperwork that he’s a victim of libel, slander, and defamation by Vasquez.
He claims that during his March 2017 hook-up with Vasquez there was no ‘sexual intercourse’.
The 69-year-old property tycoon charges that Vasquez was paid $8,000 for her part in a plot with two mystery men to extort him into paying out a large sum of money ‘demanded’ by Vee who threatened to go to the police with her date rape claim if he didn’t pay up.
In response to an Instagram post by model Kate Upton about the #MeToo movement, on February 1 Vasquez wrote about the alleged sexual assault she faced at Guess
Upton, who has worked on campaigns for Guess, accused designer Paul Marciano of sexual misconduct. Vasquez later supported her claims saying ‘Thank you @kateupton it is time people like @paulmarciano & @mohamedhadid get exposed for who they really are!’
Hadid paid up, he admits in the legal papers – but it didn’t stop the model from going public anyway.
The court papers claim Hadid and Vasquez only met once, on March 25 2017 for a ‘short, 40-minute consensual get together, at the invitation of (Vasquez).’
Noting that as a property developer he had ‘no need or interest in hiring a model,’ Hadid disputes Vasquez’s Instagram claim that she thought her rendezvous with him was going to be a ‘professional meeting.’
And he points to a series of ‘friendly’ text message exchanges between him and Vasquez on March 24 – the day before they met up – and including several ‘sexually charged photos’ that she allegedly sent him ‘of herself in bikinis and other scantily clad outfits.’
Hadid’s lawsuit includes exhibits of these photos, some of which show buxom Vasquez in sexy, figure-revealing clothes.
‘None of the text messages between Hadid and Vasquez leading up to their 40-minute consensual interaction mention having ‘coffee,’ say the court papers.
‘None of the text messages…mention a professional meeting…None of the text messages hint or suggest that either Hadid or Vasquez thought their preplanned get together had anything to do with a potential business opportunity or any other professional venture.’
Hadid’s lawyers say the wealthy developer brought his civil action because of Vasquez’s attempt to extort money out of Hadid, who is entirely innocent, by making false accusations and falsely reporting to the police and other media outlets that he ‘date raped’ her.
‘Vasquez is a pathological liar who acted with actual malice and her intentional wrongful defamatory actions constitute libel, slander and extortion,’ the documents state.
Hadid, who has been engaged to Shiva Safai (above) since 2014, described Vee’s claims as ‘totally untrue’
Vasquez explained that the sexually charged texts were part of a sting operation to get Hadid to confess
On Tuesday Vasquez, however, offered her explanation for the sexually charged texts, claiming they were part of a failed one-woman sting operation to support her claim that she was sexually assaulted.
Vasquez told the New York Daily News that the conversation was all a badly planned set-up that didn’t work out the way she’d intended.
‘I thought if I could get (Hadid) to see me again I could get him to confess to what he did to me,’ she said. ‘I thought maybe I could record him.’
Vasquez admits that it was ‘stupid’ of her not to have involved the police in her alleged attempt to take matters into her hands.
Nevertheless, Hadid maintains in legal papers that he was ‘respectful’ of Vasquez and ‘in complete control’ during their one off meeting.’
The papers added that the encounter was ‘purely consensual and pleasurable’ to Vasquez, that she was ‘very complimentary’ towards Hadid afterwards and thought he was a ‘gentlemen’.
The pair never saw one another again.
