An Australian model has been dubbed best dressed at renowned US music festival Coachella after sporting a stylish macramé two-piece outfit. 

At the festival, Georgia Gibbs donned the revealing top, skirt and bottoms handmade by Australian designer Denisse M Vera. 

The bikini-style halter top was paired with tasselled skirt over matching high-waisted cream-coloured  underwear.

The glamourous 25-year-old looked stunning in the Australian-made outfit she paired with knee-high white boots and accessorised with gold face gems. 

In a post to Instagram, Denisse said she ‘couldn’t feel prouder’ to see her creation hailed as one of the best at Coachella which is known for its fashionable festival goers.

‘Georgia and I started scheming back in 2020 but overtime and Coachella cancellations, the original design was left behind,’ she wrote.

‘This style came to me recently when I was away with family… a little post-flood rejuvenation trip. My mind was calm, my heart felt full and so one morning this idea flowed.’

Many of the Georgia’s fans took to the comments to gush over the Perth-born model’s ‘amazing’ look. 

‘So obsessed. Best dressed at Coachella,’ one wrote while another said: ‘You look AMAZING! Fave look I’ve seen for this year’.

The yet-to-be-named outfit is available in sizes 6-12+ from the Denisse M Vera website with a hefty price tag of $990.

Denisse wasn’t the only Australian designer represented at Coachella this year as two world famous Victoria Secret models were spotted wearing pieces from affordable brand VRG GRL. 

The fast fashion shop created by sisters Daniella Dionyssiou and Natalia Suesskow when they were teenagers in 2007 started as a brick-and-mortar store in Brisbane before the company’s online presence took over in 2014.

The crochet dress was the most searched item on the VRG GRL website that weekend with the brand seeing a 104 per cent increase in sales of the product the day it was worn by the former VS angel
