The length of Inga’s hair means that she is always the center of attention wherever she goes. For the most part, Inga loves the attention – especially when young girls who dream of one day having long hair like hers, see her and think she’s a real-life fairytale character.

People are often in awe of Inga’s luscious mane and often ask her for tips on how she’s managed to grow it so long and what she eats to keep it healthy.

However, sometimes Inga admits that it can be annoying, especially when her hair captures the attention of the wrong people who become obsessed with her long hair.

The opposite sex love Inga’s hair and she says it’s because men are drawn to women who have great hair, skin and nails.

Instead of cutting her hair, Inga trims it twice a year and insists on a healthy diet of meat, fish, salads and olive oil alongside avoiding heat, not dying it and being careful when brushing is the secret to long hair growth.

‘I cut my hair when I was 14 and since then I just trim it twice a year,’ said Inga.

‘My hair is my way of expressing myself and my individuality.

‘Healthy diet is the most important thing to grow healthy hair, I don’t use a hair dryer, I brush it carefully, I don’t dye my hair, it’s my natural hair color, I use natural oils and hair care in general.

‘I try to eat only healthy, fresh, organic, no fast food and a lot of protein which is very important for hair.

‘I try not to eat the same everyday: food should be varied and nutritious. I try to avoid “empty” carbs – sugar, white bread, pastries, pasta and pizza.

‘I prefer meat, fish, chicken, seafood and gigantic amounts of salads with olive oil. I always keep some nuts or fruit in my bag for a quick snack.

‘Almost every day I make smoothies from different berries: raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and other fruits. In terms of beverages I have coffee, green tea, matcha green tea without sugar.

‘I never drink sodas like Cola, Fanta, Pepsi and have at least one liter of mineral water per day. The most important thing is, don’t force yourself to eat more or less than you want: love your body and focus on healthy habits, and the appearance will follow.

‘The attention is sometimes nice and refreshing. For instance, when it’s a young girl who dreams about having long hair and thinks I’m from some cartoon.

‘Other times, it can be annoying when it attracts the attention of the wrong people, for the wrong reasons and they become obsessed with my hair.

‘It brings me too much attention sometimes, as people always know that it’s me. It takes a lot of shampoo and conditioner to care for it as well.

‘Most men love it. I think men are naturally drawn to women who have good skin, hair and nails.’

‘When people see my hair, they say it’s amazing, ask me how I grew it and how long it took and what I eat,’ she said.

‘My advice to those looking to grow their hair is: eat healthy, have a healthy lifestyle, no stress, take your vitamins, eat more protein, don’t use a hair dryer and don’t cut it.’
