When asked about his future at the club ahead of PSG’s Champions League clash with Istanbul Basaksehir on Tuesday, Kean said: ‘I am very happy with my performance with PSG.

‘It’s a very good thing to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world.

‘I am focused on bringing good results. For the future, we’ll see, you never know.’

The Italian arrived at Goodison Park during the summer of 2019 from Juventus for a fee of £27.5million and signed a five-year contract.

However, the form of Dominic Calvert-Lewin meant it was almost impossible for Kean to break into Everton’s starting XI.

As a result, he endured some tough times at the club – including the moment he was infamously hauled off after 19 minutes by caretaker boss Duncan Ferguson at Old Trafford last season.

Subsequently, Kean looked to rehabilitate his career at the Parc de Princes as the French champions look to win their eighth league crown in nine seasons.

Kean admitted to idolising both Neymar and Mbappe and claims he is using their experience to better himself.

He said: ‘I have the opportunity to learn a lot from them,’ he said. ‘They are two of the greatest players in the world.

‘I am very happy to play with them. I learn a lot from these leaders.’
