Rosa Sanchez was arrested after being filmed furiously smashing the tool against the car’s bumper and rear-window, while simultaneously spraying black lines all over the outside of the luxury vehicle

A Florida woman was filmed wreaking havoc on another person’s car on the side of the road, smashing its windows with a hammer and spraying black paint all over its white exterior.

Alejandro Reyes, who filmed the encounter, says he was driving his father to a nearby assisted living facility in Homestead last Saturday, when he spotted the incensed woman striking the side of white Range Rover with a hammer.

Reyes then filmed the woman, later revealed to be Rosa Sanchez, furiously smashing the tool against the car’s bumper and rear-window, while simultaneously spraying black lines all over the outside of the luxury vehicle.

Throughout the video Sanchez can be seen shouting to someone across the other side of the road who is believed to be the car’s owner.

Police have not yet confirmed what the pair were arguing over.

When the spray paint runs out she throws the can inside the car and continues bashing out what’s left of the vehicle’s remaining windows.

Total costs in damages to the vehicle are likely to amount to several thousand dollars.

Eventually two armed police officers show up at the scene, just across the road from Mario’s Auto Repair, and approach Sanchez with their weapons drawn.

Sanchez is seen complying with the officers’ demands, with both of her hands placed atop a different vehicle and the hammer placed on the floor.

She was then arrested and booked into the country jail, where she was charged with criminal mischief amounting to damages of $1,000 or more, and an additional charge of disorderly conduct.

As of Friday she is no longer in police custody. It’s unclear when Sanchez will make an initial appearance in court.
