A woman who brazenly swiped a potted plant from a west London window has sparked social media outrage and a police investigation.
CCTV footage shows a female passer-by stop in her tracks after spotting something outside a window in Stephendale Road, Fulham – where properties can fetch upwards of £1.7million – at roughly 1.45pm on July 31.
She leaves her male companion, walks past the waist-high wall and up to the property’s front window, ‘nonchalantly’ picks up an assortment of potted plants and leaves the premises with an air of apathetic calm.
The video clip was uploaded to Twitter by Arron Shepherd, a friend of the alleged victim who asked social media users to ‘make this woman famous’.
Social media users joked about the woman’s identity, claiming her name was ‘Daisy Steele’, ‘Nicky Flowers’, ‘Iris Robbin’ or ‘Robyn A Plant’, while others expressed horror at the ‘amoral’ and ‘appalling’ act.

A Met Police spokesperson told MailOnline that they received a telephone report of theft on Wednesday.
