Moment an Australian man holds his Thai girlfriend’s hand after she fell from a high-rise apartment

Footage has emerged showing the moment an Australian man held his Thai girlfriend’s hand as paramedics desperately tried to revive her. 

The man was seen by onlookers holding on to Wilawal Poolsukserm as he sat beside her after she fell from a high-rise apartment on Monday.

Ms Poolsukserm, 28, was found on the road after falling from the balcony of Mint Mansion in Thailand in the early hours of the morning.

When paramedics first arrived at the scene at 2.30am, the distraught man can be seen with his head in his hand and in tears. 

He then held on to his girlfriend as paramedics frantically worked to save her.    

Ms Poolsukserm later died on the way to Pattaya Memorial Hospital, The Nation reported. 

A witness said he saw the young woman and heard the loud bang as she hit the ground in Pattaya, two hours east of Bangkok.

The Australian man was held and questioned after Ms Poolsukserm fell to her death.

Police held the man as to determine whether her death was suicide.
