Moment Julian Assange SKATEBOARDS through the Ecuadorian embassy

Julian Assange was captured skateboarding through the Ecuadorian embassy wearing shorts in new security footage.

In the video, obtained by El Pais, the Wikileaks founder sports a vest as he stumbles around his quarters in bare feet like a clumsy teenager.

Assange appears pale and dishevelled in the clip – as a security firm reveals he spied on officials during his seven-year stint at the embassy in London.

Listening devices were found in the quarters were Assange lived since 2012 before his arrested  on Thursday.

Assange would turn on taps in his quarters so gushing water would stop British intelligence and the Ecuadorians listening to his conversations, Spanish security company Undercover Global S.L revealed.

The Wikileaks is facing charges in the US for ‘conspiracy to commit computer intrusion’ after he published sensitive government documents in 2010.

As he was dragged from the embassy looking bearded and disheveled, curiosity was sparked about what he did to pass the time during his stay.

Embassy staff had complained of Assange riding a skateboard in the polished wooden halls, playing football and being untidy.

While he couldn’t go out, he had the run of the entire embassy – which is nestled in well-heeled Kensington.

Unable to exercise outside, Assange reportedly caused mayhem with his skateboard, left dirty dishes out and blasted loud music.

He was said to mount ‘dirty protests’ by leaving soiled underpants stuffed down the lavatory and ignored repeated warnings not to leave half-eaten meals and unwashed dishes in the kitchen.

It was even said his cat was also removed from the embassy because he did not look after it – although ambassadors were suspicious he planted a hidden camera to spy on people.

However claims Julian Assange put faeces on the walls of the Ecuadorian embassy were lies, his lawyer said today.

Ms Robinson told Sky News: ‘The first thing to say is Ecuador has been making some outrageous allegations. It’s a difficult situation.

‘Ecuador has made these allegations to justify the unlawful and extraordinary act of letting police come inside an embassy.’

Pushed over the veracity of the allegations, Ms Robinson said: ‘That’s not true’.

He went in to the embassy in 2012 to avoid ‘US injustice’ rather than Swedish justice, according to Ms Robinson.

His lawyer claims he ‘has cooperated with the Swedish investigation’ in to allegations of rape and sexual misconduct.

She said: ‘This was and is not about avoiding facing Swedish justice. It is about avoiding US injustice. He has cooperated with the Swedish investigation.

‘Swedish prosecutors came into the embassy to hear his testimony. After that they closed the case.’

Ecuador’s president Lenin Moreno accused the Australian of ‘discourteous and aggressive behaviour’ as he confirmed the south American country had withdrawn his asylum status.

Rafael Correa, Ecuadorian president when Assange was granted asylum, branded Moreno a traitor.

But the country’s Interior Minister Maria Paula Romo hit back by claiming Correa had allowed the 47-year-old to get away with some unimaginable behaviour.

She said: ‘During his stay at the Ecuadorian Embassy, during the government of the former president Rafael Correa, they tolerated things like Mr Assange putting faeces on the walls of the embassy and other types of behaviour of this kind that is far removed from the minimum respect a guest should have in a country which has generously welcomed him.’

She did not make it clear if he had used his own faeces or someone else’s.
