Moment woman casually steals a Christmas package from front doorstep

Shame on you: Woman steals a young boy’s Christmas present from the front doorstep of a home after doing laps of the neighbourhood looking for a target

A woman has been caught stealing a Christmas present intended for a young boy out the front of a family home in broad daylight. 

The woman, is seen strolling up the driveway of Matthew Higgins’ Bellbird Park, Queensland home and stealing a package that had been left by a courier right near their front door.

Dressed in a floral dress and sunglasses, the brazen woman walks right up to the front door, picks up the parcel and casually walks back to her car.

Luckily, the brazen theft was caught on the family’s security cameras and uploaded to Facebook in a bid to catch the thief.  

‘The grinch visited our house this afternoon’ Mr Higgins wrote on Monday alongside the series of images and footage.

The stolen present, a special Fortnite edition of Monopoly express shipped from the US costing $70, was intended to be given to Mr Higgins’ son James for Christmas. 

‘It was the only present that he really wanted,’ Mr Eggins told Yahoo7. 

The thief then walked up to the front door, picked up the package and walked casually back to her car that was parked on the other side of the road

Moments before she took the parcel, she was captured on camera driving slowly past the home multiple times.

Mr Eggins wants to make sure people are vigilant and rethink their delivery options closer to Christmas.
