A monster father who sexually abused his daughters from the age of four and let his co-workers gang rape them has been jailed after more than two decades of torment.
The 80-year-old man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of his daughters, pleaded guilty to 87 harrowing charges in the Townsville District Court last week.
During a police interview, he blamed the 20-plus years of relentless sexual abuse on a ‘vision’ he had of one of his daughters becoming a drug addict and prostitute.

He claimed he wanted to ‘shock’ the girl out of following the path he saw in the vision, and subjected her to vaginal, anal and oral rape at knifepoint.
In a chilling twist, the girls’ mother knew of the abuse and did nothing to stop it, the Townsville Bulletin reported.
The court heard of one incident where the man forced the family dog upon one of his daughters.
On another occasion the mother loaned $300 to her then 15-year-old daughter to pay for an abortion the girl was impregnated by her rapist father.
She was made to pay back the money.
He also allowed his daughter to be gang raped by groups of men after taking her to his workplace.
‘My father is a person I have feared all my life. He has had a lifelong traumatic impact on me,’ one of the abused daughters wrote in a victim impact statement submitted to the court.
‘I was just a little girl and could not understand what I had done wrong to warrant such vile treatment, punishment and threats by my father.’
The woman detailed how her whole ‘world fell apart’ and ‘life changed forever’ when her mother walked in on her being abused by her father and did nothing to stop it.
When she reached adulthood the abuse didn’t stop, and in one incident the father raped his daughter while she was pregnant with her husband.
He would rape her while her husband was at work, and threaten to kill her or the unborn child if she told anyone.
Defence barrister Tom Polley argued that his client was extremely remorseful for his decades long abuse and regretted what had happened.
Judge Lynham sentenced the father to 27 years jail, causing one of the daughters to let out a cry from the public gallery.
She said she would carry the trauma of her father’s actions for the rest of her life.
