Mormon soft-swinging Influencer dumped by husband after ‘catching feelings’ for another married man

The Mormon influencer who was at the center of TikTok’s viral ‘soft swinging’ scandal – which resulted in her being dumped by her husband after she ‘caught feelings’ for another married man – has revealed that she lost all but one of her friends in the wake of the controversy.

Taylor Frankie Paul, 28, from Salt Lake City, Utah, blew up on TikTok back in May, when she claimed that her husband, Tate Paul, was divorcing her after she broke the rules in a swinging agreement that she and Tate had made with their pals.

While the friend group had allegedly decided to swap partners, they agreed not to ‘go all the way’ – something known as ‘soft swinging’ – and said that they would only ‘mess around’ when they were together.

But Taylor revealed at the time that she had ‘stepped out of that agreement’ and started to fall for one of her friend’s partners – which ultimately ended her marriage.

Now, the mom-of-two, who has a four-year-old daughter, Indy, and a two-year-old son, Ocean, with her soon-to-be ex-husband, revealed that she not only lost her spouse, but admitted that most of her friends have also dropped her.

In a video posted to her TikTok earlier this month – where she has more than three million followers – Taylor revealed that she was battling depression and she was ‘really struggling’ in the midst of the scandal.

She then shared a video that said, ‘Can you pin point what makes you sad?’ before a montage of moments from her old life flashed across the screen.

The videos and pictures – which were taken before the drama went down – showed her looking as happy as could be alongside her kids, now-ex, and former-close friends.

‘Just a major life adjustment with a lot of loss,’ she captioned it.

Then, when a commenter asked her if all of her pals had ‘taken a hike,’ she explained that almost all of her squad – most of whom are fellow Mormons – had disowned her for her infidelity.

‘One stayed by my side,’ she replied, while sharing a video of her and her friend Mayci Neeley dancing together.

In another video, the ladies stood side by side and mouthed the words, ‘And then there were two. Nobody likes us, the two b***hes are left.’

Back in May, Taylor stunned her followers when she announced that her marriage to Tate was over in a TikTok Live, while claiming that she and her husband had participated in soft swinging with some of their friends.

The social media star alleged that she and the other wives in her friend group would make out with each other and each other’s husbands while drinking alcohol.

However, one night, she said she got ‘belligerent’ drunk and ‘messed around’ with one of her friend’s husbands alone rather than ‘with the whole group.’

‘We had an agreement, like all of us, and I did step out of that agreement,’ she admitted. ‘That’s where I messed up, and I, obviously, am losing everything that I have, so that is true.

However, she added: ‘No one was innocent. Everyone has hooked up with everyone in this situation.

‘So, yes, I’m getting shunned for doing that, but it wasn’t like I was going around hooking up with my friend’s husband.’

The mom-of-two explained that she soon developed ‘feelings’ for the other man, which complicated things.

‘I was friends with these people, and we spent a lot of time together. We were intimate on several occasions,’ she said.

‘It sucks that I have to admit this because…no one really wants to admit they’re involved in something like that.’

Taylor noted that she and Tate had other issues in their marriage before they separated, but said ‘this was like the tip of the iceberg.’

‘Tate has made out with several girls and [done] other things, and I’ve made out with all of the husbands and [done] other things,’ she stated.

She refused to name names, but she added that fans could easily figure out which couples she was referring to in the livestream.

Sam and Camille Munday, Brayden and Mckenna Rowley, Chase and Miranda Hope McWhorter, Selver and Victoria Zalic, and Conner and Whitney Leavitt are among the couples who have been rumored to have been involved in the alleged swinging, though many of them have denied the claims.

Earlier this month, Taylor gave an update on how she was holding up following the split, and she admitted that she was feeling so ‘f**king sad.’

‘I will tell you how I’m doing. I’m f**king sad,’ she said in the candid video. ‘Sorry to say it that way, but that’s just how I want to emphasize how I’m feeling.

‘I actually texted one of my doctors today asking if I can go on some anti-anxiety, depression meds because I am really, really struggling.

‘I’m actually almost down to 90 pounds, which is extremely unhealthy for my height and age.’

‘I’m obviously struggling to be a good mom, a good friend, a good person right now, because I’m so in my head and lost, to be honest. I feel like a lost soul,’ she said. ‘I cry every single day.’

She revealed that her sadness stemmed from more than just losing her husband. She continued, ‘I don’t know if this is just the process of it, the process of divorce, major loss, loss of my best friends.

‘I got betrayed. I betrayed someone. There’s just so much in the mix and behind the scenes that people don’t know, won’t ever know, didn’t see. And, so yeah, I am struggling.’

Taylor is now dating a man named Dakota Mortensen, however, she previously hinted that their relationship had already begun to fall apart because he wants to continue to see other people while dating her.

‘Hope it’s cool if I talk to other girls,’ she wrote in the on-screen text of a different TikTok video, presumably referring to Dakota.

‘No worries, I’ll talk to your whole friend group,’ she responded. ‘I’m good at sharing. Stay toxic.’
