Those who have dreamed about owning their own beach now have the chance to snap up a stunning home complete with a beautiful stretch of sand by ocean.

The plush four-bedroom property in Victoria’s exclusive Mornington Peninsula comes with a private beach that is a perfect place to soak up the sun.

However potential buyers interested in snapping up the 669sqm dream home will need to need to have deep pockets as the asking price starts at $4.5million.

Dean Phillips, director of McEwing and Partners, told Daily Mail Australia as of midnight the sandy space would be the only beach in Victoria where people can wear a mask as it is a private area.

‘There are not very many residences with private beaches in Australia,’ Mr Phillips said.

‘There are a couple in Portsea, but only because no one else access the sand. There are hardly any properties where the homeowner owns the sand or that come with the title.’

Mr Phillips said there are four properties in the street and all of them are owned by the same family and have their own private slice of the beach.

He said the couple selling the home are only letting it go because they want to acquire more land.

The home was redesigned a decade ago.

‘The gentleman that currently owns it is the Mornington Peninsula’s most exclusive builder, so you can imagine the quality of the product,’ he said.

The rebuild meant the inclusion of an aluminium exterior, timber stairs and landscaping that compliments the coastal surroundings.

There is also a tiled, self-cleaning pool that uses a geothermal heat pump to keep it warm all year round.

The kitchen has waterfall stone benchtops, a Miele dishwasher and a De’Longhi gas stove.

A rear door leads to an alfresco terrace with BBQ kitchen with steps down to the pool and outdoor shower.

Three separate living areas allow family to enjoy time together, with one lower section boasting a gas fireplace and theatre room. There is also a games room on the upper level.

The property has four bedrooms, with the master bedroom having a large en-suite and a dressing room.

Other selling points include a double garage, a boat parking bay, security systems, home office and a duct heating and cooling system.

Mr Phillips said that the property would make the perfect holiday home for a Melbourne family or someone who lived overseas because it is so low maintenance.

‘The home is a class act, the next owners will have a good time with the property,’ he said.
