A Texas man has been arrested after a horrified mother recovered photos of him raping her seven-year-old daughter.
The San Antonio Police Department said Jose Trinidad Gonzalez, 35, was charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography after the woman reported the incident on Sunday.
She was casually browsing through the ‘deleted photos’ section of Gonzalez’s tablet when she discovered the disturbing images.
The identity of both the mother and child have been withheld, while their relationship to Gonzalez was not disclosed for legal and privacy purposes.
According to the arrest report, obtained by My San Antonio, police said the mother often allowed her daughter and other children to play games on Gonzalez’s device.
She was initially scrolling through the man’s tablet to check what her kids were playing, when she opened the photos and was utterly disgusted by what she saw.
The graphic images showed her young daughter’s genitals and Gonzalez sexually assaulting the child.

The woman immediately contacted police. Gonzalez was arrested the same day.
He was booked to Bexar County Jail, where he is currently being held, on bond of $150,000.
Just weeks ago, another Texas man was booked to the Bexar County Jail after he was accused of repeatedly raping a 15-year-old female relative since she was the age of six.

San Antonio man, Steven Lyn Deaton, 39, was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a young child when the girl came forward with the claims after police received a call citing Deaton’s suicide attempt.
I seems he was doing this most to avoid jail time as he tried to take his own life by overdosing on prescription painkillers.
After the rape allegations were made public, the victim’s sister also came forward with shocking allegations suggesting Deaton also sexually abused her in the past.
He was booked to Bexar County Jail, where he is currently being held, on bond of $150,000
According to the newspaper, police found Deaton severely intoxicated and unable to articulate clear sentences.
He was then placed on emergency detention and transported to a local hospital.
Since the teen’s sister also came forward with the sexual abuse claims, further charges are likely pending against Deaton.
