This is the bizarre moment a busy parent tied a rope to their child’s swing so they could play with the youngster from a fourth floor window.

The clip, filmed in Belgorod, captures the child as they swing back and forth in a playground – pulled by a rope attached to the bottom of the seat. 

The camera then pans upwards to reveal the long length of rope is connected to a fourth floor apartment, where it is pulled repeatedly by a person sitting in the window.

The rope hangs awkwardly in the air above a car park as the child, wrapped up warmly in a thick parka, enjoys the playground. 

The cameraperson, who captured the bizarre scene from the window of their home on Friday, said the long rope was pulled from a fourth-floor window and tied to the swing.

‘I saw this from the window of my house,’ they said. ‘Someone pulled a long rope from a fourth-floor window into the courtyard and tied it to a swing.’
