The cleaning paste has a recommended retail price of £6.75 but can be purchased for just a pound or under from some UK bargain stores, such as B&M and Poundstretcher.

Taking to Facebook, Stacey wrote: ‘I am totally ashamed of how bad my cooker got. I have five kids! Three which are babies under the age of three.’

She added that she worked full time, and upon returning home, she would cook tea, pack lunches and never get chance to clean her oven door.

But it isn’t the first time that The Pink Stuff has sent shoppers into a frenzy with its cleaning prowess.

In January, Jade Williams, from Bridgend, took to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, to share the results of the ‘amazing’ cleaning product after it left her ‘revolting’ fryer sparkling clean.

Sharing photos of her deep fat fryer before and after using the product, she wrote: ‘Was going to throw my fryer out as it was revolting but got the pink stuff out instead definitely recommend (sic).’
